Last updated 10 June 2026. Plain-English version: Karooty and its games are ours — the software, artwork, audio, design, and brand. You're welcome to play for your own enjoyment, but you may not copy, clone, reverse-engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit the games, the cosmetics, or the platform. Play fair, and the service is provided "as is."

Who we are

Karooty (karooty.com) is a multi-game platform operated by Mohamed Al Khalifa ("Karooty", "we", "us"). It currently hosts the games 150 and Jackaroo, with more to come.

Ownership & intellectual property

The Karooty platform and everything original in it is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. That includes, without limitation:

• the software and source code — game engines, bots, the platform shell, and all client and server code;
• the original artwork, card and board designs, cosmetics, deck and table skins, avatars, emotes, animations, and audio;
• the visual design, layout, and overall look and feel of the site and the games;
• the "Karooty" name, the Karooty logo, the game names and branding, and any related marks.

We do not claim ownership of the traditional rules of public-domain card or board games. What we own and protect is our particular expression of them — our code, artwork, presentation, naming, and design. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

Your licence to use Karooty

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and play the games for your own non-commercial entertainment, through the official site, for as long as you comply with these terms. This licence does not transfer any ownership to you.

What you may not do

Except where a law gives you a right we can't restrict, you may not:

• copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of the platform, the games, or the cosmetics;
• clone or substantially imitate a Karooty game, its artwork, or its design, or pass off our work as your own;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code, assets, or engine logic, except to the limited extent the law expressly permits;
• scrape, data-mine, harvest, or bulk-download the site, its assets, or its data, or use bots or automated systems to access it;
• remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice;
• sell, sub-licence, rent, or commercially exploit the games, the cosmetics, or access to them;
• frame, mirror, or re-host the games or platform, or embed them without our written permission;
• circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, rate-limiting, fair-play, or other technical measures, or probe or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

Fair play & accounts

Karooty is built around fair play. Don't cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate matches or stats, use unauthorised automation, or abuse other players. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. We may suspend or terminate access — and remove infringing or abusive content — if you break these terms, at our discretion.

Cosmetics & virtual items

Cosmetic items (decks, tables, skins, avatars, emotes, win effects, and the like) are licensed to you, not sold or owned by you. They have no real-world or cash value, are tied to your account, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money except where we expressly offer it. We may add, change, retire, or revoke cosmetics and any in-game economy at any time.

Your content

If you submit anything to Karooty — a display name, a chat message, or similar — you confirm you have the right to do so, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it for the purpose of running the service. Keep it lawful and respectful; we may remove content that breaks these terms.

Third-party components

Karooty uses third-party and open-source software, fonts, and services, each under its own licence. Those licences govern those components; nothing here grants you rights in third-party materials beyond what their owners allow.

No warranty

Karooty is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the games will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Karooty. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and costs arising out of your misuse of Karooty or your breach of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; we'll update the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

ترخيصك لاستخدام Karooty

نمنحك ترخيصاً محدوداً، شخصياً، غير حصري، غير قابل للنقل، وقابلاً للإلغاء للوصول إلى الألعاب ولعبها لأغراض ترفيهك الشخصي غير التجاري، عبر الموقع الرسمي، وما دمت ملتزماً بهذه الشروط. ولا ينقل هذا الترخيص إليك أي ملكية.

ما لا يجوز لك فعله

باستثناء ما يمنحك إياه القانون من حقوق لا يمكننا تقييدها، لا يجوز لك:

• نسخ أي جزء من المنصة أو الألعاب أو العناصر التجميلية، أو استنساخه، أو توزيعه، أو عرضه علناً، أو إنشاء أعمال مشتقة منه؛
• استنساخ أي لعبة من ألعاب Karooty أو أعمالها الفنية أو تصميمها أو محاكاتها محاكاةً جوهرية، أو انتحال عملنا ونسبته إلى نفسك؛
• إجراء هندسة عكسية، أو فكّ التجميع، أو التفكيك، أو محاولة استخراج الشيفرة المصدرية أو الأصول أو منطق المحرّك، إلا في الحدود الضيقة التي يجيزها القانون صراحةً؛
• كشط الموقع أو أصوله أو بياناته، أو التنقيب فيها، أو حصادها، أو تنزيلها بالجملة، أو استخدام روبوتات أو أنظمة آلية للوصول إليه؛
• إزالة أو إخفاء أو تغيير أي إشعار خاص بحقوق المؤلف أو العلامات التجارية أو غير ذلك من إشعارات الملكية؛
• بيع الألعاب أو العناصر التجميلية أو الوصول إليها، أو ترخيصها من الباطن، أو تأجيرها، أو استغلالها تجارياً؛
• تأطير الألعاب أو المنصة، أو إنشاء نسخة مرآة منها، أو إعادة استضافتها، أو تضمينها من دون إذن كتابي منا؛
• الالتفاف على تدابير الأمان أو تحديد معدّل الاستخدام أو اللعب النزيه أو غيرها من التدابير التقنية، أو تعطيلها، أو التدخّل فيها، أو سبر الخدمة أو بنيتها التحتية أو تعطيلهما.

اللعب النزيه والحسابات

بُني Karooty على اللعب النزيه. لا تغشّ، ولا تستغل الأخطاء البرمجية، ولا تتلاعب بالمباريات أو الإحصائيات، ولا تستخدم أتمتةً غير مصرّح بها، ولا تسئ إلى اللاعبين الآخرين. وأنت مسؤول عن النشاط الذي يجري عبر حسابك وعن الحفاظ على أمان بيانات تسجيل دخولك. ويجوز لنا تعليق الوصول أو إنهاؤه — وإزالة المحتوى المخالف أو المسيء — إذا خالفت هذه الشروط، وذلك وفق تقديرنا.

العناصر التجميلية والعناصر الافتراضية

العناصر التجميلية (أشكال أوراق اللعب، والطاولات، والأشكال الجلدية «السكنات»، والصور الرمزية، والتعابير التفاعلية، ومؤثرات الفوز، وما شابهها) مرخَّصة لك، وليست مبيعةً لك ولا مملوكة لك. وليست لها أي قيمة نقدية أو قيمة في العالم الحقيقي، وهي مرتبطة بحسابك، ولا يمكن نقلها أو بيعها أو استبدالها بمال إلا حيث نتيح ذلك صراحةً. ويجوز لنا إضافة العناصر التجميلية وأي اقتصاد داخل اللعبة، أو تغييرها، أو سحبها، أو إلغاؤها في أي وقت.

المحتوى الخاص بك

إذا قدّمت أي شيء إلى Karooty — اسم عرض، أو رسالة دردشة، أو ما شابه — فإنك تؤكد أن لديك الحق في ذلك، وتمنحنا ترخيصاً عالمياً معفياً من الإتاوات لاستضافته وعرضه لغرض تشغيل الخدمة. فلتُبقِ محتواك قانونياً ومحترماً؛ ويجوز لنا إزالة المحتوى الذي يخالف هذه الشروط.

مكوّنات الأطراف الثالثة

يستخدم Karooty برمجيات وخطوطاً وخدمات من أطراف ثالثة ومفتوحة المصدر، يخضع كلٌّ منها لترخيصه الخاص. وتلك التراخيص هي التي تحكم تلك المكوّنات؛ ولا شيء في هذه الشروط يمنحك حقوقاً في مواد الأطراف الثالثة تتجاوز ما يجيزه أصحابها.

إخلاء الضمان

يُقدَّم Karooty «كما هو» و«حسب توفّره»، من دون ضمانات من أي نوع، صريحةً كانت أو ضمنية، بما في ذلك ضمانات القابلية للتسويق، والملاءمة لغرض معيّن، وعدم الانتهاك. ولا نَعِد بأن تكون الألعاب من دون انقطاع، أو خالية من الأخطاء، أو متاحة دائماً، ويجوز لنا تغيير أي جزء منها أو تعليقه أو إيقافه في أي وقت.

تحديد المسؤولية

إلى أقصى حدّ يجيزه القانون، لا نتحمّل المسؤولية عن أي أضرار غير مباشرة، أو عرضية، أو خاصة، أو تبعية، أو عقابية، ولا عن أي فقدان للبيانات أو الأرباح أو السمعة التجارية، ينشأ عن استخدامك Karooty (أو عدم قدرتك على استخدامه). ولا شيء في هذه الشروط يستبعد مسؤوليةً لا يجوز استبعادها قانوناً.

التعويض

توافق على تعويضنا وإبراء ذمّتنا من أي مطالبات وخسائر وتكاليف تنشأ عن إساءة استخدامك Karooty أو إخلالك بهذه الشروط.

التغييرات

يجوز لنا تحديث هذه الشروط من حين إلى آخر؛ وسنحدّث التاريخ أعلاه عند قيامنا بذلك. واستمرارك في الاستخدام بعد أي تغيير يعني قبولك الشروط المحدَّثة.

القانون الواجب التطبيق والاختصاص القضائي

تخضع هذه الشروط لقوانين مملكة البحرين، وتختص محاكم البحرين بالنظر في المنازعات الناشئة عنها. ولا شيء في هذه الشروط يسلبك أي حقوق إلزامية لحماية المستهلك تتمتع بها بموجب قوانين البلد الذي تقيم فيه.
